Gregory Pullen studied violoncello at
the Royal Academy of Music with Vivian Joseph and Denis Nesbitt. In
addition to playing cello for the English National Ballet and in London’s
West End, he performed as a soloist across Europe and made a number of
broadcasts including several for the BBC.
He began conducting at the age of 22
when he was appointed Assistant Musical Director to The Vienna Festival
Ballet, a post which he held until he returned to England and the

He has since established himself as
one of the regions most prominent teachers of the cello and more recently
as a composer. He is currently involved in commissions for theatre, film
and concert work.
