Concert
Classics Live The concert was very well attended
and the soloists were superb. The Sunderland Echo gave a very good
preview and an excellent review. The Society is grateful to
everyone who helped in any way. The tea provided for the musicians
following the afternoon rehearsal was much appreciated.

Youth
Music Club The Youth Music Club started by Rupert
has settled down very well and now has an average attendance of
betweeen 15 and 20 members. Diana Hauber, Sarah White and Maria
van der Eijk all help and give instruction. The club has
effectively taken the place of the Academy. Three of the young
members sang and played during a Church Service in April.

Sunderland Echo Thursday May 22nd
The Sunderland Echo on the above date carried a report, the
interpretation of which may have given incorrect implications and
which may have created concerns and doubts regarding the
relationship between CoSMOS and WEST PARK CHURCH.
The CoSMOS
Committee has NEVER considered or discussed the possibility of
moving away from West Park Church. Relationships with the Church,
which has been the base of the Society from its inception, and all
its members, remain excellent. |
